| Please note: My knowledge of this instrument is limited to what I can see and some information from the Internet so if you have any technical questions please have a little patience for the reply. Serial No. 11475 which puts it at 1961/1962 I think. The Hofner Compensator is stamped Regd. 851997. One Tuning Peg has been replaced. I understand it has an early version headstock. There is some lacquer wear as can be appreciated bearing in mind its age, but other than that looks in fine condition. A lovely "warm" colour. Complete with all its strings, no hard case I am afraid but comes with flimsy "slip case" which has seen better days. Judging by the holes in the last picture I feel it may have been fitted with some sort of pick-up at one time, perhaps you can tell me!!! |
