Ann was born in Southwell 1821 and lived in Westhorpe all of her life eventually dying aged 92 in 1913. Samuel was born in Southwell 1838 and married Jane Rickett 12th June 1859" - Photo kindly sent in by Tony Bak

CLAY'S GARAGE, NEXT TO THE PORTLAND, KING STREET
Photos sent in by Kevin M. Collier
"The garage on King St in your bygone shots belonged to A R Clay in the years before its final closure. When demolished to make way for the Michael T Carter Supermarket, subsequently the Co-op. It was discovered that it contained the Tythe Barn, but being the `60s was destroyed anyway. I don`t think the Civic Society would let them get away with nowadays. If I can ever find them I have some slides taken during the demolition". David Stone
