Conditions

The agreement between MINSTER SALES and ITEM OWNER/AGENT lasts for thirty days and can be terminated by either party giving ten days notice in writing. MINSTER SALES will return unsold goods within thirty days of agreement ending.

ITEM OWNER/AGENT shall receive 70% of the final auction price from each item sold except where the final auction price is below £30 where MINSTER SALES will deduct a flat fee of £10 or the final selling price, whichever is the lower.

MINSTER SALES agree to pay all auction listing, selling fees, despatch costs and charges for items, which sell. Special requirements such as length of sale, special listing devices such as highlighting, will be agreed prior to listing, including starting price (if applicable) and Reserve Price (if applicable).

MINSTER SALES takes possession of goods for sale and will undertake inspection, image processing, listing details, payment and fulfilment.

ITEM OWNER/AGENT will receive listing and auction details in writing and will sign agreement to those details being accurate and acceptable.

Auction will run its full course and the highest bidder will win the item regardless of price (subject to Starting Price and/or Reserve, if applicable). If ITEM OWNER/AGENT wishes to cancel auction prior to end a cancellation fee of £50 will be charged.

MINSTER SALES will pay ITEM OWNER/AGENT the agreed portion of the sale within 30 days of funds being cleared/item(s) and the item(s) being despatched to the winning bidder.

ITEM OWNER/AGENT testifies ownership or right to sell the appropriate item.

ITEM OWNER/AGENT also agree: Not to sell the item(s) during the duration of the listing, Not to retract the item(s) without good cause, Not to bid (or get others to bid) on their own items. (This is called “Schill Bidding” and is forbidden by eBay, proven cases being reported to eBay and the subsequent bidders being excluded by eBay from using their site).

A list of the items, brief description and other details is left with ITEM OWNER/AGENT along with a signed copy of the agreement.

Dated photos of the items (not necessarily used in the listing) are taken prior to removing the items, a print-out of which is sent to you.
